On Saturday, Sept. 27, 2002, the JWHS Marching Band will make its way to Napoleon, Ohio to participate in the "Music in Motion" Marching Band Festival hosted by the Napoleon High School Marching Band. This invitation is a great honor for the JWHS Band and it will give you a chance to see what band students your age are doing in a different part of the country. Please be reminded that your demeanor, behavior, and attitude will reflect our organization, our school, and our community. All school rules will apply to this trip. Anyone that breaks rules set up by the JWHS Administration, Frederick County Public Schools, or JWHS Band Staff is subject to punishment deemed necessary by the Administration of James Wood High School and Frederick County Public Schools.
We will be staying at the Days Inn - University Inn in Bowling Green, OH. The address is 1550 East Wooster Street, Bowling Green, OH 43402. Phone 419-352-5211. The cost per student and adult will be $35. Fast food stops will occur en route on Friday and Sunday. Students will need cash for those stops. The Napoleon High School Band Boosters are providing meals on Saturday. A continental breakfast is available from the Hotel on Sunday morning before we depart for home.

Food and Drink Policy on the Buses
Students are permitted to have food and drink on the coaches. There are however some rules for the students to follow regarding these items. ABSOLUTELY NO OPEN CONTAINER IS PERMITTED TO GO ONTO A BUS. If the bottle is opened off the coach the drink must stay off the coach. NO EXCEPTIONS. Food will be permitted on the grounds that the bus is kept clean at all times. Large amounts of garbage on the floors will allow for the loss of the food privilege.
Movies on the Coaches
Each coach will be equipped with TV/VCR. The adults on the coaches have final say as to the movies shown on each coach. No movie with a rating higher than PG-13 will be allowed for viewing.
